Liveboards, Commentary, Coaching, Bookstall & Merchandise

The majority of events will be played on liveboards at the venues in Hull and will be broadcast on, and other platforms, with links to be provided shortly.

Commentary will be provided by IM Adam Hunt (below left) and GM Daniel Gormally (below right) from the City Hall, Hull. The commentators will be joined by a number of players and guests in the commentary room over the course of the championships.

Leicestershire junior coach Alan Agnew will be available for coaching following junior championship rounds from Sunday 28th July to Saturday 3rd August. Alan will be joined by Sooraj Raju. Players should bring the score from their games if possible. All players in the junior championship are welcome to attend the post-round or group coaching sessions. Juniors should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Bookstall & Merchandise

A well-stocked bookstall will be available throughout the event, set up and run by Chess & Bridge.

Bespoke garments by Fine Designs
Fine Designs will be attending the 2024 Championships over the first weekend of 27th – 28th July with a range of BCC-themed garments, available for purchase at their stall in the Mortimer Suite by the bookstall.
